Over the past few decades, scientific studies have established the optimal parameters for safety and the levels that maximise fitness gains. The stimulus that we use in our routines will not go deeper than your skeletal muscles, meaning that no internal organs such as your heart are at risk during the process. EMS is also widely used in physiotherapy in systems such as TENS systems that aid recovery from exercise or injury.
